Rail, ballast, sleeper

Rail expertise: Track construction and everything to do with it is a key element in the Wiebe Group's range of services.

Operating on the routes of the German rail network, the group of companies covers a broad spectrum.

Whether new construction, conversion or maintenance of track, platform and switch systems, the experts at Wiebe ensure that everything works (again) in the area of passenger and freight transportation.

Machinery - Technology in use

Work and expansion on the rail network present complex challenges. This requires not only technical know-how, but also the right equipment. The machinery at H.F. Wiebe relies on state-of-the-art technology. From formation rehabilitation and tamping work to locomotives, H.F. Wiebe is ideally equipped for the respective areas of work. The machines are operated by experienced personnel on site. This means that the project can be implemented with the right equipment and qualified employees.

Thanks to laser-assisted three-strand lifting, split sleepers are also part of the performance spectrum of this track and switch tamping machine.

As large and versatile as the Wiebe Group has become in the meantime, the family atmosphere has always been maintained. It is the result of our company history. Everyone pulls together and relies on mutual trust - just like in a big family.

Over 175 years with a view to the future

The foundation stone was laid in rural Dörverden in 1848. Company founder Dieter H.F. Wiebe ventured into self-employment with his own carpentry business.

Foresight and bold decisions have always been important cornerstones of the company's policy. In particular, the entry into track construction in 1932 marked a new mainstay and literally set an important course for the Future. Economic growth from the 1950s onwards required the development and expansion of the rail network, and Wiebe played a key role in this.

The management has always remained in family hands and the company is currently run by the sixth generation. Nostalgia? Not really. The focus is on the future.

Subsidiaries: More than just track construction

The Wiebe Group has continued to grow over the years and has steadily expanded its range of services. The subsidiaries itg GmbH (civil engineering, underground construction and track construction), Sächsische Bau-GmbH and blp (Wiebe Logistics) ensure the interplay of a wide range of competencies in various areas of the construction industry and bundle a comprehensive range of services, including in the field of civil engineering and underground construction.

Things come together at the company headquarters in Achim.

Employees - the company's gold

Building, extending, repairing, maintaining and always keeping up with the times: Such a large task only works with a core of committed employees. H.F. Wiebe is aware of this fact and therefore focuses on reliable, long-term cooperation.
