Matthäi has been a reliable partner as a construction company for over 90 years. We are now represented in all disciplines of construction. But Matthäi is different from its competitors: as an employer, as a training company and as a construction company. Besides a successful execution of our construction sites, we focus on people. The people that work for us- and the people that one day will use one of our constructions. This attitude gives our work its meaning and always ensures to focus on what is really important.
Our divisions are as diverse as the Matthäi Group itself. From power plant construction to road construction, from hydraulic engineering to structural engineering, from raw material extraction to demolition work - the Matthäi Group has the right specialist companies. For example, there are companies for every stage of a highway renovation project. We take care of traffic safety as well as demolition work on the old road surface. With our modern fleet of vehicles, we transport the demolished material to our own recycling plants or landfills. We then carry out the renovation work on the highway and apply the new road surface - all from a single source.
The energy transition is a huge generational project. Matthäi knows about its responsibility and commits to a sustainable future. Our contribution is planning and constructing transformer stations, charging stations, sustainable power plants and offshore grid connections. We take it even further: Matthäi aimes to produce renewable energy itself with various inhouse projects carried out by our company Matthäi Energie.
Matthäi commits to a sustainable future. After all, the construction industry is responsible for a huge amount of CO2 emissions. We want to change that. We are measuring our CO2 emissions and do various inhouse projects to contribute to emission reduction. Very recent projects are the implementation of charging station for electrical vehicals at various Matthäi locations or the planting of 5.000 trees. In addition we highly support sustainability in employee retention and education. Matthäi supports multiple children’s facilities, schools, universities and sports clubs for many years.
