Modern diagnostics at all levels

Medical care, close to home and visionary

The Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH hospital network offers all the important specialist areas of medical care. The range of services is supplemented by cooperating practices and close cooperation with other clinics in the area. This ensures optimal care close to home.

The well-being of patients is at the heart of everything we do. The use of modern diagnostics offers therapy and care at a high level.

The vision: To be the preferred contact for medical hospital care for the people in the region.

Pleasantly manageable and professional

With 124 beds in Verden and 131 beds in Achim, the hospital group is of a manageable size and enables uncomplicated cooperation between the respective specialist departments. 850 employees are there for the needs of the patients and guarantee a high level of individual, friendly attention with high-quality medical care.

The aim is to make the stay as pleasant as possible while providing the best possible treatment.

A friendly team, on duty around the clock

"

This is the right place for me because I am part of AWK and my opinion is taken seriously.

Philipp Pacher, Head of Intensive Care Unit

The nursing team is on duty around the clock.

Care: patient-oriented and interdisciplinary

Nursing care is an essential part of a hospital stay. The nursing team accompanies patients through almost every stage of their stay, from admission to discharge.

Transparency is part of the guiding principle: patients and, if desired, their relatives are naturally involved in the process.

Employees in the nursing profession undergo regular and continuous training in order to develop both professionally and personally. They work closely with all departments on an interdisciplinary basis and their actions are regularly evaluated.

Delivery room tours - expectant parents welcome

When a new addition to the family is expected, there are many questions and uncertainties in addition to the anticipation. Most parents-to-be decide to give birth in hospital. But what does the environment actually look like there?

The Aller-Weser-Klinikverbund offers a very special service for pregnant women and their relatives: during the regular delivery room tours at the Verden site, they can take a look around the maternity ward in advance, get to know the specialist staff and ask questions.

So that everything feels a little safer for this very special moment.

Team Aller-Weser-Klinik: You've come to the right place!

The Aller-Weser-Klinikverbund offers a friendly working atmosphere and many opportunities. The clear layout of the two locations enables an individual and practically oriented working environment with short distances and close proximity to people.
